Nikon AW 1 Water Test

Well this was fun.  I picked up the new AW1 Waterproof camera earlier this week and pulled it straight out of the box and into the water.  Between myself, my kids and my friends, it has hardly been put down in the last 4 days.  This is an incredibly versatile camera that punches way above it’s weight for quality images and video.  It is waterproof to 50ft, dropproof to 6ft, Freezeproof to -15c and sports interchangeable lenses.  I got the zoom and wide lens kit and am wrapped.

The Slow motion video is the show stopper, with 400fps high quality video produced right in camera and transferred straight to my computer in moments.  The 1200fps is a little smaller and lighter in quality but is incredible to watch.  It just captures every moment so well.  Then you can flip it over and into photo burst mode with up to 60fps available, that is unheard of.

Whilst it is simple, the pop up flash blew me away.  You simply pop it up underwater and everything comes alive.

Here is a fun little clip of the first few shots we caught.  This is in pretty ordinary conditions but it still looks so clear.

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours lately, yet I by no means found any attention-grabbing article like yours.
It is beautiful value enough for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made good content material as you probably
did, the net can be much more useful than ever
    before.
